Percentage of naphthalene based superplasticizer for naphthalene production

Naphthalene based superplasticizer( high-efficiency water reducer) has the largest proportion of industrial naphthalene consumption in China, and naphthalene superplasticizer the high-efficiency water reducer accounts for about 85% of the total amount of superplasticizer, accounting for more than 40% of the total additive. As China is in the period of large-scale construction, coupled with the Olympic Games, the Three Gorges Project, the South-to-North Water Transfer, and the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and other large-scale concrete projects, the Nai water-reducing agent has a very large development space. In 2003, the total output of naphthalene superplasticizer high-efficiency water reducing agent in China was 936,600 tons, of which 770,400 tons of high-efficiency water reducing agent was used, and 300,000 tons of naphthalene in consumer industry. In 2005, the production of high-efficiency water reducer was about 1.1 million tons, and the consumption of industrial naphthalene was about 360,000 tons. From 2010 to 2015, the demand for industrial naphthalene from China's water reducer will reach 800,000 tons, with an average annual growth rate of over 12%.
